Broadleaf Maple Fireplace Mantels

Mother nature has clearly been hard at work in the great Northwest. These beautiful, live-edge Broadleaf Maple mantels are unique for five reasons:

  • Choice of wood - Selecting just the right log with the natural figuring to ensure optimum beauty when sliced and custom finished.
  • Footprint - The natural growth of each log presents its own individual footprint resulting from the free-form configuration of the outside of the trunk.
  • Color - From black to purple, to gold, Nature's color pallet includes a myriad of colors as only She can paint.
  • Figuring - When combined with color, the natural figuring (such as curly, spalt, fiddleback, quilt and flame patterns) inherent in each mantel slab displays Mother Nature at her best.
  • Live Edge - The front edge of each mantel represents the ripples, curls, depressions, bark inclusions, and rope-like twisting of the surface grains, further ensuring that each hand-worked mantel is a unique, one-of-a-kind work of art as only Mother Nature could create.
