- AG-1 grade is the most light in color, with very little character
- AG-2 grade has more (or mid-range) color and character
- AG-3 grade has the most multi-color, character, figuring and a very rustic look

Patina Alder - This native Oregon hardwood product features
an earthy, rustic appearance complete with knots, grain and patina.
Typically cut for flooring, Patina Alder is also popular for paneling
and wainscot. The light wood in the photo
is Patina Alder and the darker wood is Oregon Antique.
This patina alder flooring is matched to hickory cabinets.

Broad Leaf Maple - Our flooring is much like all of
our other products in that you see what surprises Mother
Nature has made for us. The finished product is considered
"rustic" with a great deal of character. The only thing you
do not see in the flooring, is the "live edge of the tree"
that you see in many of our other products. What you do see
is the many different kinds of figuring such as, curly, fiddle
back, birds eye, quilt and some bark inclusions, if you want
them. Some customers have stained the lighter maple with a cherry
coloring to make it match their cherry cabinets. The
staining does take some

of the interesting grain
patterns away, however. All flooring is T & G or 1/4" ship lap.
We normally run 3" widths by 3/4" thick by random length. We do
welcome custom orders.

Oregon Antique A Douglas Fir specie, Oregon Antique
is one of our most popular flooring products. Each plank
is sawn with vertical grain resulting in a stronger, more
stable material. Used in stair tread, handrail, paneling,
trim and wainscot applications, Oregon Antique hardwood brings
a unique antique effect to your building or remodeling application.

Oregon White Oak The White Oak does not have an appearance grade.
It comes quarter sawn (vertical grain), rift sawn (flat grain),
or a combination of quarter/rift. We will have photos available
here soon - please check back or send Jim an email:

Mt. Hood Stairwell The stair tread and handrail
application featured in this stairwell was used in
condo units built at Oregon's Mt. Hood Meadows. Featuring
Silvercrest Hardwood's old growth fir, it was
quarter sawn allowing the natural grain to stand "on
end" to provide improved stability and strength while
delivering the appearance of antique, wormy lumber. Note:
These logs were salvaged from a large forest fire, allowing
utilization of burnt timber otherwise beyond salvage.

|
Installation Note:
Our flooring is kiln dried to 6%. We recommend a 2-3 week acclimatization of the flooring
in the room that you are going to install it in. The room or house needs to be very near
the humidity level that the room or house will be when finished. Wide planking is much
more susceptible to warping if not properly installed. If the above suggestions are not
followed, we will not stand behind our product.
