Broadleaf Maple Bar and Counter Tops

The rugged natural beauty of the great Northwest comes to life with this solid maple bar top, custom finished and ready for installation. The adventure begins as we begin to saw these ancient maple logs open. We never know what Mother nature will surprise us with as we discover her work in these large plank slabs. Natural figuring, color and the twists and turns of the Maple grain, combined with a great deal of old-fashioned hand-work, ensure that these one-of-a-kind pieces are truly unique.

A full four-and-one-half inches thick, this 24" x 72" slab has a polymer/epoxy top finish and two coats of spar varnish on the sides and bottom. Shipped with two 3"x3"x18" black walnut mounting braces.

Standard size bar top - 4" thick x 23" wide x 72" long. Sides and bottom are sealed with two coats of spar varnish; top is poured with 1/16 inch plus of polymer epoxy, leaving a glass like finish that is resistant to water, hot coffee cups, etc.

The 10" - 19" face side can be poured with polymer to make a continuous 19" wide surface - still being able to see all of the figuring. Or choose the 23" face side as the top of the bar for more flat surface. Polymer will be applied to the face side (top) that you choose.
